Beyond the cape,
Past the clouds,
Out of where any mankind has been,
Lies a planet of Krypton.
The son of a god,
The first of his kind in thousands of years,
Is a Man of Steel,
Protecting all from the cruel,
For hope to bring back his culture on Planet Earth.
Cool poem, I saw the movie Man of Steel. You described it really well. I would never have thought of that as a topic for a poem but it worked well, especially when you said beyond the cape.
